Italian international midfielder Aurora Galli has left Serie A champions Juventus according to reports on the club’s official website.
The 24-year-old has spent four years with The Black and Whites after joining the club from Verona in 2017.
Galli’s next destination has not yet been revealed, however, the player has previously been linked with a move to Everton. The Barclays FA Women’s Super League club are understood to be close to unveiling a number of new signings with Galli one of several players to have been linked with The Blue Girls in recent weeks. Should Galli complete a move to Everton, she will become the first Italian player to feature in the Barclays FA Women’s Super League since it’s inception a decade ago.
During her time as a Juventus player, Galli has helped guide the club to four Serie A league titles, two Italian Super Cups and one Italian Cup. The midfielder has also represented her club in the UEFA Women’s Champions League’s Round of 32.
On the international stage, Galli has represented her country on 37 occasions at senior level while she has scored seven goals. The player was included in the Italian squad for the UEFA Women’s EURO in 2017 and the FIFA Women’s World Cup France 2019.
Galli has spent all of her 10 years as a senior footballer playing in her homeland but the player may now wish to test herself at a higher level.
