Young midfielder Keeley Davies has signed her first professional terms with FA Women’s Championship club Coventry United.
The 21-year-old rejoined The Red and Greens in February following a two-and-a-half-year spell with FA Women’s National League North club West Bromwich Albion.
Davies made four appearances for Coventry United in this season’s FA Women’s Championship, scoring the winning goal in the club’s 1-0 victory at Blackburn Rovers in April.
With Coventry United manager Jay Bradford building a professional squad for next season, the club today revealed the news that midfielder Davies is the latest player to be staying on at the Butts Park Arena. Coventry United made the announcement via their official club Twitter account.

In addition to Coventry United and West Bromwich Albion, Davies also represented Birmingham City earlier in her career. The player was handed her top flight debut by the club in a 2-0 home defeat to Manchester City in 2016 while she was a member of a Birmingham City side who were FA Women’s Continental Tyres Cup runners-up in that season.
Coventry United boss Bradford has now retained eight members of her 2020/2021 squad on a professional basis for the new season. The club have also made the impressive addition of forward Katie Wilkinson, a player who has been the FA Women’s Championship’s top scorer in each of the last two seasons.
