Tottenham Hotspur complete permanent signing of West Ham United midfielder Cho

Tottenham Hotspur have completed the permanent signing of West Ham United midfielder Cho So-hyun according to reports on their official website.

The 33-year-old South Korean international enjoyed a successful loan spell with Spurs during the second half of last season and she will now move to The Hive on a permanent basis.

It has been reported that Cho has signed on at Spurs until next summer, although the club hold the option to extend the deal by a further year.

The midfielder made seven appearances for Spurs in the Barclays FA Women’s Super League during her loan spell as the club recorded an eighth-place finish, one position above her then-parent club West Ham United.

After signing a permanent deal with Spurs, Cho said “I am so happy to sign for Spurs after my loan at the Club and I feel lucky to work with such talented staff and teammates.

“With the help of everyone here, I was able to adapt quickly to the team last season. I still need to adapt more – I want to score and assist a lot more.

“I believe our team will get better and better and I am very excited to be part of the Club going into the future. I’m really looking forward to the start of the new season.”

Cho becomes Spurs head coach Rehanne Skinner’s first signing of the summer transfer window.
