Coventry United have completed the signing of former Leicester City forward Olivia Fergusson on a two-year deal.
The 26-year-old moves to the Butts Park Arena after leaving her former club last week at the end of her contract.
Fergusson becomes Coventry United manager Jay Bradford’s fifth signing of the summer following the recent additions of forward Katie Wilkinson, midfielders Charlie Estcourt and Mollie Green and defender Grace Riglar.
The transfer was confirmed by the club earlier this morning via a post on their official Twitter account.

Fergusson has spent the last two seasons challenging for promotion to the Barclays FA Women’s Super League. The player made 14 appearances and scored seven goals for Sheffield United as they finished as runners-up to champions Aston Villa in 2019/2020 while she made eight appearances for Leicester City in their title-winning campaign last season. Fergusson has also previously spent time with Aston Villa, Bristol City and Yeovil Town.
The player brings a wealth of experience with her to Coventry United and she will further improve what is quickly becoming a very impressive group of players that is being assembled by manager Bradford.
Coventry United have finished in 10th position in both of their seasons in the FA Women’s Championship but the top half of the table is undoubtedly where the club wants to be this term.
