PREVIEW: Manchester United v Everton

Manchester United will play at Old Trafford in-front of spectators for the very first time when they face Everton on Sunday.

The Red Devils took on West Ham United at ‘The Theatre of Dreams’ 12 months’ ago and they will now return to Old Trafford this weekend with more than 20,000 fans expected to be in attendance.

Manchester United head coach Marc Skinner remains without the services of long term absentees Millie Turner, Aoife Mannion and Millie Turner for his side’s latest Barclays FA Women’s Super League match while Kirsty Smith is also out. There is better news for Carrie Jones, Hayley Ladd and Signe Bruun with the trio having trained well this week.

Everton’s interim manager Chris Roberts is not thought to have any fresh injury concerns to contend with following his side’s 4-0 defeat to Manchester City in midweek. Forward Anna Anvegård continues to be sidelined as she recovers from the effects of concussion while long term absentee Nicoline Sørensen remains out. Roberts could look to make a couple of changes to his side with Kenza Dali and Izzy Christiansen pushing for recalls.

The Barclays FA Women’s Super League fixture between Manchester United and Everton at Old Trafford kicks-off at 12.30pm on Sunday. Tickets remain on-sale and can be purchased by clicking here.
