London City Lionesses and Charlton Athletic will be aiming to bounce back to form when they contest a Kent derby at Princes Park in Dartford on Sunday.
The hosts are winless in four league matches while Karen Hills’ Charlton Athletic side haven’t recorded a victory in six matches, failing to score in each of their last five outings. Both sides will need to improve their form if they are to have any chance of finishing third in this season’s FA Women’s Championship.
London City Lionesses have been without forwards Karin Muya and Rianna Jarrett in recent weeks. The former has been pictured in training this week but the current condition of Republic of Ireland international forward Rianna Jarrett is unknown. Atlanta Primus could return after missing the recent defeat at Watford.
Charlton Athletic remain without long term absentee Rachel Newborough through injury. Defender Kiera Skeels and forward Lauren Bruton have been notable absentees from The Addicks’ squad in recent weeks and the current fitness levels of those players are not known.
The FA Women’s Championship fixture between London City Lionesses and Charlton Athletic kicks-off at 2pm on Sunday afternoon. Tickets for the match remain on-sale and can be purchased by clicking here.
