Arsenal’s FA Cup semi-final tie against Chelsea expected to be a sellout

Arsenal’s Vitality Women’s FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea looks to be just hours away from being declared a sellout.

Easter Sunday’s blockbuster fixture at the LV Bet Stadium in Boreham Wood sees the 2020/2021 Vitality Women’s FA Cup finalists go head-to-head and fans have been purchasing tickets for the match in their numbers in recent days.

Arsenal have this morning confirmed that just 50 tickets for the match remain unsold and it seems likely that those tickets will be snapped up in the coming hours with the game being on course for a sellout.

It was Chelsea who won the 2020/2021 Vitality Women’s FA Cup final with The Blues defeating Arsenal 3-0 at Wembley Stadium back in December. Fran Kirby opened the scoring for Emma Hayes’ side after just three minutes before Sam Kerr’s second half double made sure that Chelsea would go home with the trophy.

For Arsenal, that defeat came at the start of a sticky period but The Gunners have since rectified their form and there is little to separate the two sides going into their latest meeting at the LV Bet Stadium this weekend.

The Vitality Women’s FA Cup semi-final between Arsenal and Chelsea kicks-off at 12.3opm on Sunday afternoon. The remaining tickets can be purchased by clicking here.
