Spurs forward Graham signs new one-year deal

Tottenham Hotspur forward Kit Graham has signed a new one-year deal with the club with the option of a further year.

The Lilywhites confirmed the news this morning via a post on their official club website. Graham is currently recovering from an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury but she remains a key player in head coach Rehanne Skinner’s plans for next season.

Graham joined Spurs from London rivals Charlton Athletic back in summer 2019 following the club’s promotion to the Barclays FA Women’s Super League. The player has gone on to make 39 appearances in the Barclays FA Women’s Super League for the North Londoners, scoring six goals. Graham has shown a great ability to lead the attack with her physical presence and she is a really good fit in head coach Skinner’s team.

After signing her new deal with Spurs, Graham said “I’m really happy to sign a new contract. I’ve had a tough few months but it’s great to have that security and support from the Club.

“I knew that my contract was coming to an end, then I got injured and the Club approached me straight away and that gave me peace of mind knowing that I could focus on my rehab and not worry about that side of things. I can’t wait to get back on the pitch and help the team.”

News of Graham’s contract extension comes just 24 hours after Spurs head coach Skinner signed a new two-year deal with the club.
