Arsenal will be hoping to keep the pressure on Barclays FA Women’s Super League rivals Chelsea when they travel to Walton Hall Park to face Everton on Sunday evening.
The Gunners are one point adrift of Chelsea in second place therefore Jonas Eidevall’s side must simply win their remaining games and hope that The Blues slip up.
Everton take to the field for the first time since appointing Danish coach Brian Sørensen as their new manager. The Fortuna Hjørring boss will officially take over on Merseyside in the summer.
Interim manager Chris Roberts continues to oversee first team matters in the meantime. The Scot has confirmed that Swedish international forward Anna Anvegård is fit and available for selection, as is Simone Magill. Everton do have doubts over Claire Emslie’s availability.
Arsenal travel to Merseyside with no new injury concerns off the back of last weekend’s 2-0 defeat to Chelsea in the semi-finals of the Vitality Women’s FA Cup. Defender Rafaelle Souza is doubtful with the Brazilian having not yet fully overcome her recent injury.
