Rangers complete the signing of Durham defender Hill for undisclosed fee

Park’s Motor Group Scottish Women’s Premier League champions Rangers have completed the signing of Durham defender Kathryn Hill for an undisclosed fee.

The Gers announced the deal via a post on their official club website earlier today.

Hill is a die-hard Rangers fan and she previously represented the club for more than five years earlier in her career as a semi-professional player. Following a spell combining football with her studies in the United States, Hill joined latest club Durham in 2017 where she has made 113 appearances in all competitions.

The defender is a former Scotland youth international and she has been extremely unlucky to miss out on selection for the senior side in recent times. Hill will be hoping to now catch the eye of Scotland head coach Pedro Martínez Losa after completing her Rangers return.

After signing on again with The Gers, Hill said “I am obviously really excited. It is a proud day for me and my family and I am just looking forward to getting started.

“When Rangers are interested and as a Rangers fan it is the only move you want to make. You have everything you need here to progress as a player and I can’t wait to walk in here every day and work hard.”

Hill will be hoping to help Rangers kick on this season with the club set to compete strongly both domestically and in Europe.
