Reading have agreed a two-year contract extension with highly-rated midfielder Tia Primmer.
The Royals announced the news earlier today via a post on their official club Twitter account.
Primmer enjoyed a breakthrough campaign last season with the player making her stamp on the first team after coming through Reading’s academy system. The youngster made her debut against Birmingham City in November and she went on to feature on 13 further occasions for Kelly Chambers’ side. Primmer has a huge future ahead of her and Reading will be delighted that the player will write her next chapter with them.
After signing her new contract, Primmer said “It has been a rollercoaster and I have enjoyed every part of it, I am so grateful for where I am now.
“I will be aiming to show that I deserve to be here right now and hopefully start playing regularly. In the future, I want to become one of the best.”
Primmer’s new deal caps-off a very busy day of activity at Reading. The club have agreed new two-year deals with three members of their squad. Defenders Deanna Cooper and Lily Woodham have also signed on again at the Select Car Leasing Stadium for the upcoming season.
