Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain will battle it out for top spot in their UEFA Women’s Champions League group when they contest their Matchday 6 fixture at Stamford Bridge on Thursday evening.
Both sides have already qualified for the quarter-finals. Any kind of positive result for Chelsea will see them end the group stage in pole position.
Ahead of the Stamford Bridge showdown, FAWSL Full-Time have taken a look at the match facts provided by UEFA. Here are three key facts which relate to Chelsea’s meeting with Paris Saint-Germain.
Both clubs in fine form in Europe
Chelsea have lost only one of their last 11 UEFA Women’s Champions League games, winning seven. Paris Saint-Germain have a similar record, they have lost only one of their previous 11 UEFA Women’s Champions League group stage games (W9 D1). The one defeat for the French club came against Chelsea in the reverse fixture.
Chelsea are rock solid on home soil
