West Ham United duo Houssein and Flannery sign dual-registration terms with Gillingham

West Ham United have allowed youngsters Halle Houssein and Keira Flannery to join Gillingham Women on a dual-registration basis until the end of the season.

The Hammers announced the news via a squad update on their official club website this evening.

Both Houssein and Flannery joined West Ham United last summer after leaving their former club Arsenal. The pair have struggled for playing time with the East Londoners in the first half of the season. Houssein has made eight appearances for The Hammers in all competitions this season with just one of those outings coming in the form of a start. Flannery has made two starts and three substitute appearances for Paul Konchesky’s side.

Houssein and Flannery join a Gillingham side that are currently occupying ninth position in the FA Women’s National League Southern Premier Division. The Kent club have collected 11 points from their 10 league fixtures so far this season. Gillingham have lost their last two games without scoring and both Houssein and Flannery will be hoping to bring some fresh solidity to the side and help build new momentum throughout the second half of the season.

Gillingham could hand debuts to Houssein and Flannery when they host second-placed side Portsmouth at Bauvill Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
