PREVIEW: West Ham United v Chelsea

West Ham United and Chelsea will battle it out to reach the FA Women’s Continental Tyres League Cup final when they contest their semi-final tie at The Chigwell Construction Stadium on Thursday evening.

The Hammers are yet to participate in a FA Women’s Continental Tyres League Cup final while opponents Chelsea have won the trophy in two of the last three seasons.

West Ham United manager Paul Konchesky confirmed in his pre-match press conference that he has no fresh injury concerns off the back of Sunday’s goalless draw with Arsenal at The Chigwell Construction Stadium. The Hammers remain without the services of Republic of Ireland international midfielder Jess Ziu through long-term injury while January transfer window signing Amber Tysiak is not yet ready to make her debut.

Chelsea manager Emma Hayes continues to be without the services of Danish international attacker Pernille Harder who is still recovering from surgery on a hamstring problem. Czech Republic international midfielder Kateřina Svitková is still out with an injury and won’t be able to face her former club.

The FA Women’s Continental Tyres League Cup semi-final tie between West Ham United and Chelsea kicks-off at 7.15pm on Thursday evening. Tickets remain on-sale and can be purchased by clicking here.
