Bristol City goal machine Harrison signs new deal

Bristol City forward Abi Harrison has signed a new deal with the club which will keep her at Ashton Gate until summer 2025.

The Robins announced the news via a post on their official club website last night.

Harrison has spent the last four-and-a-half years with Bristol City and she has gone on to break the club’s goalscoring record. The Scotland international has 38 goals to her name in a red and white shirt, a tally which is considerably higher than any other player in the history of the club.

The 25-year-old has been an ever-present for Bristol City in each of the last two seasons and the club will undoubtedly depend on her quality again in 2023/2024 as they return to the top flight.

After signing her new deal, Harrison said “I’m delighted to extend my stay at this club. Since I walked through the door, it’s felt like home and I can’t wait to continue this journey.

“Signing a new deal was a no-brainer. I’ve been through a lot with this club and the fans and we’ve always supported each other, so when the offer to stay was there, it was an easy decision.”

Harrison is the 10th player to sign a new contract with Bristol City this summer.
