Smith has spent the last two seasons with Birmingham City. The youngster has made 47 appearances for the Blues in all competitions in which she has scored four goals. Smith has offered Birmingham City boss Darren Carter plenty of versatility with the player able to perform out wide or as a central striker. There is more to come from the player and she will be looking to kick on at St Andrew’s in the next two years.
After signing a new contract with the Blues, Smith said “I’m really happy to be staying, it’s a great group of girls and I can’t wait to get going.
“We’ve got a great group of staff that have lots of different tools for us to utilise so that we can improve as a team and as individuals.”
Smith becomes the tenth player to sign a contract extension with Birmingham City this summer. Siobhan Wilson, Lucy Thomas, Martha Harris, Jade Pennock, Abbi Jenner, Louanne Worsey, Lucy Quinn, Louise Quinn and Gemma Lawley have also signed on again with the Blues.
