Chelsea have completed the signing of American forward Mia Fishel on a three-year deal.
The Blues announced the news via a post on their official club website this afternoon.
Fishel moves to Kingsmeadow from Mexican Liga MX Femenil club Tigres UANL where she has spent the last 18 months of her career. The forward has also previously represented UCLA Bruins at college level in the United States.
The 22-year-old is a hugely exciting talent and she will be hoping to thrill the Chelsea fans during her time in South West London.
After joining The Blues, Fishel said “I’m super-excited, it’s a dream come true and everything that I’ve worked for since I was a kid until now. It’s all worth it and it’s all paid off because now I’m playing for one of the best clubs in the world.
“I’m excited to know London, to meet the people and get to know everybody. I’m blessed and excited to start this journey with Chelsea.”
Fishel becomes the eighth player to join Chelsea in the summer transfer window. The Blues have also added Nicky Evrard, Sjoeke Nüsken, Catarina Macario, Alejandra Bernabé, Ashley Lawrence, Hannah Hampton and Brooke Aspin to their squad this summer.
