Bristol City have completed the signing of former Danish youth international defender Sille Struck on an initial one-year deal with the option of a further year.
The Robins announced news of the transfer via a post on their official club website this evening.
Struck joins The Robins off the back of a short spell with finetwork Liga F club FC Levante Las Planas. The defender has also represented Rayo Vallecano in the Spanish game. Prior to her time in Spain, Struck played her football back home in her native Denmark.
On the international stage, the defender has been capped by Denmark up to and including Under-19 level.
After completing her move to Bristol City, Struck said “It feels good to sign. I am very proud to be at Bristol City and I am excited for the season and ready to give everything.
“Ashton Gate is cool and I can’t wait to play in front of the fans. It’s a very strong league and hopefully I can bring some of my experience from Spain here.
“I’m a central defender and I love to have the ball and build up play from behind, but I also really put honour into defending my own goal.”
Struck becomes Bristol City’s eighth signing of the summer transfer window.
