Hearts sign Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Park

Scottish top flight club Hearts have completed the signing of Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Park Ye-eun on a deal until the end of the season.

The Jambos announced the news via a post on their official club website this evening.

Park has spent one season with Brighton & Hove Albion after joining the club last summer. The player has found playing in the English game tough with Park making just four substitute appearances for The Seagulls in last season’s Barclays Women’s Super League. The South Korean international now has a fresh start as she continues her career north of the border at Hearts.

After adding Park to her squad, Hearts boss Eva Olid said “We have been keen to bring in another attack-minded midfielder and as soon as we heard Yeni was available, we wanted to do everything we could to bring her to the club.

“Having such an established international player join us is going to improve our squad and help us achieve our goals for the season.

“We look forward to welcoming Yeni, as soon as her work permit is approved. I believe she is going to excite a lot of our supporters!”

Park is one of two players to leave Brighton & Hove Albion on Transfer Deadline Day.
