Manchester United sign American keeper Tullis-Joyce

Manchester United have completed the signing of American goalkeeper Phallon Tullis-Joyce from National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) club OL Reign.

FAWSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Red Devils this evening.

Tullis-Joyce spent her youth in the American college system with Miami Hurricanes before moving to France where she represented Reims. The keeper has spent the last two-and-a-half years back in her native United States with OL Reign. Tullis-Joyce won the NWSL Shield and The Women’s Cup with OL Reign in 2022.

The keeper has now returned to Europe after sealing a move to Marc Skinner’s Manchester United side.

After joining The Red Devils, Tullis-Joyce said “Today has been pure excitement for me. Manchester United is such an historic club, that has already done so much in the women’s game. I’m so honoured to get this opportunity.”

Manchester United head coach Skinner added “Phallon joins us at an exciting time for Manchester United Women, as we embark on our first European season. We are delighted to welcome Phallon to our family. Phallon has a wonderful array of talents, and we look forward to seeing her growth at Manchester United.”

Tullis-Joyce is Manchester United’s third Transfer Deadline Day signing.
