Manchester City and Chelsea have both been handed away ties in the quarter-finals of this season’s Adobe Women’s FA Cup.
The quarter-final draw was conducted live on The One Show on BBC One this evening. Former Adobe Women’s FA Cup winners Fara Williams and Alex Scott carried out the draw alongside The One Show presenter Jermaine Jenas.
The draw determined that Manchester City will travel to Tottenham Hotspur in the last-eight while trophy holders Chelsea head to Everton. Manchester City have already faced Spurs at Brisbane Road on two previous occasions in 2024.
Elsewhere in the draw, Manchester United will make the long trip to Sussex to face managerless Brighton & Hove Albion while Liverpool play host to Leicester City in a tie which could be seen as the tightest of the four quarter-final matches.
The four Adobe Women’s FA Cup quarter-final ties are scheduled to take place over the weekend of 10/11 March 2024.
This season’s Adobe Women’s FA Cup final is set to be staged at Wembley Stadium on Sunday 12 May 2024. Tickets for the showpiece are on-sale now and can be purchased by clicking here.
