England will face France, Sweden and the Republic of Ireland in their qualifying campaign for the UEFA Women’s EURO 2025.
The qualification draw took place live at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland just a short time ago.
It has been determined that England will compete in Group A3 alongside France, Sweden and the Republic of Ireland. The qualifying campaign will be played out in the UEFA Women’s Nations League format with England playing all opponents home and away. England are seeded in League A following their second-place finish in last year’s inaugural campaign. The top two teams in each League A group will automatically qualify for the finals while play-offs will determine the remainder of the qualifying teams.
England’s six UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 qualifying fixtures will be staged throughout the April, June and July international windows. Fixture dates, kick-off times, venues and ticket details will be confirmed in due course.
England are the current European champions after they won UEFA Women’s EURO 2022, a tournament that was staged on home soil. The Lionesses defeated Germany 2-1 after extra-time in the final at Wembley Stadium.
