Members of the Manchester City Women Official Supporters' Club and Bristol City Women Supporters' Club meet at Stoke Gifford Stadium

WEEKLY UPDATE: Manchester City Women Official Supporters’ Club #30

Welcome to the weekly Manchester City Women Official Supporters’ Club update.

This week has seen us on the road again with an FA Women’s Continental League Cup fixture at Everton and an FA Women’s Super League fixture away to Bristol City.

The Everton game was played on a freezing cold midweek evening at Marine FC in Crosby. Still, we had a great turnout and the support was loud and proud as ever. The team responded with a great 4-1 win.

On Sunday morning, it was an early departure for a 12.30pm kick-off at Bristol City. We always love going down to play the Vixens, we have a great relationship with their supporters and the banter is always great. Again, the team did their bit with a thumping good 5-0 win and we got together with the home fans for a laugh and some pictures afterwards.

We have again been delighted in the last week to welcome two new very young new members into our OSC. Both baby Harrison Simpson Grange and William Taylor were enrolled by proud parents and grandparents respectively within hours of being born, entering the Manchester City Women OSC history books. With Skyla joining last month, we may soon need a creche at our games.

We are now able to announce that our joint-Christmas Party with the Bluebells branch of the OSC is set for Saturday 14 December and we welcome members and their families down for an afternoon of festive fun.

Enjoy your football this week and we will see you again next week,

Dave (Committee member – MCWFC OSC)
