With all but one of this weekend’s Women’s FA Cup fourth round ties now concluded, we now look towards Monday’s fifth round draw.
The Football Association have announced that the fifth round draw will take place at 6.40pm live on Sportsday on the BBC News Channel.
A total of 10 FA Women’s Super League clubs will feature in the fifth round draw while four second tier sides will also be in the hat. Here is the full list of the remaining clubs and their ball numbers.
2 Manchester City
6 Leicester City
7 Birmingham City
9 Bristol City
10 Tottenham Hotspur
11 Ipswich Town
12 Coventry United
13 Southampton Women’s FC or Crystal Palace
16 Brighton & Hove Albion
Durham and Aston Villa were the two FA Women’s Championship clubs who pushed their higher division opponents the furthest in the fourth round. The Wildcats lost 1-0 after extra-time at Bristol City while Villa went down 3-2 at home to Brighton & Hove Albion.
Struggling Lewes were almost on the other end of a possible giant-killing. The Rookettes drew 1-1 with Billericay Town, the lowest ranked side in the competition, at The Dripping Pan before eventually winning the tie 5-4 on penalty kicks.
Sue Smith and Rachel Brown-Finnis will pull the balls out of the hat at BBC headquarters at Media City in Salford on Monday evening. The fifth round ties will be played on the weekend of 15-16 February.
