The fifth edition of the ‘We are the girls in claret and blue podcast’ is out now and FA Women’s Super League Full-Time have been speaking with co-presenters Reece Lammin and Allie Coker ahead of the podcast’s release.
The podcast provides an insight into all things West Ham United each week while a number of other stories from the women’s footballing world are put under the spotlight.
In this week’s podcast, Reece and Allie are joined by Emma Meredith-Shone of the ‘Man City Women Fancast’. The big topic of discussion from this weekend’s action was the ‘Game of the Weekend’ at The Academy Stadium which saw FA Women’s Super League title rivals Manchester City and Chelsea share the spoils in a six-goal thriller. Emma gives her views of the action, sitting in the Manchester City camp.
A number of FA Women’s Super League players are currently sidelined with Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injuries and Reece and Allie discuss the current state of play in the treatment room with the injury trend having a real say on matters at the top level of the women’s game.
Reece and Allie also assess Phil Neville’s England team selection which included a dream call-up for West Ham United’s Grace Fisk while there is a fascinating debate on FA Women’s Super League stars Vivianne Miedema and Sam Kerr.
