Arsenal have issued a video update on their Twitter account showing injured trio Beth Mead, Danielle Carter and Kim Little working hard during a gym session.
The news will come as good news for fans of The Gunners with Arsenal desperate for the return of some of their missing stars as they look to compete for glory in the UEFA Women’s Champions League, Women’s FA Cup and FA Women’s Super League after the international break.
No timescales for the players’ respective returns have been confirmed by Arsenal, however, the trio looked in good health during their gym session, especially forward Carter who has lost several months of her career to two Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injuries.

While Carter is recovering well from her latest ACL blow, Arsenal teammate Mead is rebuilding her fitness after picking up a Medial Collateral Ligament (MCL) injury in last month’s 3-2 FA Women’s Super League victory over Liverpool at the Deva Stadium in Chester. The England international could be a few weeks away from a return and she still had her leg strapped during the gym session.
Scotland international Little went under the surgeon’s knife on a foot injury last month. The player is expected to return to action before the end of the season, although Arsenal’s training session video update did not show the Little displaying any fitness work using her feet. It may be a little while yet before the midfielder is ready for a return to the side.
