Danish international forward Pernille Harder will be a Chelsea player next season according to the results of an exclusive FA Women’s Super League Full-Time Twitter fan poll.
The 27-year-old goal machine has a year left to run on her current contract with German club VfL Wolfsburg but the player is being tipped to move on this summer with the FA Women’s Super League a possible destination.
Reports by German media organisation Sports Buzzer recently suggested that both Chelsea and Manchester United could be interested in signing Harder with the former thought to be willing to pay a six-figure fee for her services.
In an exclusive FA Women’s Super League Full-Time fan poll on Twitter, we asked fans which club they think Harder will be representing next season. Fans voted in their numbers with 60% stating that they believe that the forward will be pulling on the famous blue jersey of Chelsea next term. Just 13% voted that Harder will join Manchester United while 10% believe that the player could be a replacement for outgoing Manchester City forward Pauline Bremer. The remaining 17% of the votes were in favour of Harder transferring to another club.

Harder is a three-time domestic double winner with VfL Wolfsburg while she has 118 senior international caps for Denmark to her name. The player has netted 61 goals for her country and is just five short of becoming Denmark’s all-time top scorer.
The forward has been crowned the Danish Football Player of the Year on no less than six occasions with Harder winning the award most recently in 2019.
