Full-back becomes fourth close season departure at Everton

Full-back Taylor Hinds has become the fourth senior player to leave Everton following the conclusion of the 2019/2020 Barclays FA Women’s Super League campaign.

The 21-year-old former Arsenal academy graduate leaves The Blue Girls following a two-and-a-half year spell on Merseyside.

Hinds’ contract with Everton had come to an end and the club went on to confirm their player’s departure on their official website this afternoon.

After spending some of her youth playing her football within the development squad at Northampton Town, Hinds joined the Arsenal academy system after impressing club scouts. The defender went on to make her senior debut for The Gunners in an FA Women’s Continental Tyres Cup fixture against neighbours London Bees in 2017.

In January 2018, Hinds joined latest club Everton in a deal which also saw Arsenal teammate Chloe Kelly’s loan spell on Merseyside made permanent. The full-back featured regularly during her first 18 months with The Blue Girls but the player has seen her first team involvement restricted this season. Manager Willie Kirk handed Hinds just two league starts during the 2019/2020 campaign while the player found herself named amongst the substitutes on 12 occasions.

Hinds joins Everton teammates Inessa Kaagman, Hannah Cain and Kirstie Levell in leaving the Merseyside club this summer.
