Young goalkeeper Kirstie Levell is the latest player to announce that she is leaving Barclays FA Women’s Super League club Everton.
The 23-year-old Birkenhead-born stopper has graduated through The Blue Girls’ youth ranks and she has gone on to rack up the first team appearances for the Merseyside club throughout the last five years.
The 2019/2020 campaign was to be Levell’s last as an Everton player with the youngster having announced her departure from the Walton Hall Park-based club via her personal Twitter account this afternoon.

Everton handed Levell her senior debut back in 2015 when the player was just 18 years of age. The keeper went on to make 16 appearances for The Blue Girls in her maiden season in the first team, a sign of her potential.
Levell was Everton’s first choice goalkeeper as the club won the 2017 FA Women’s Super League 2 Spring Series. The Blue Girls were declared champions after ending the campaign with a four-point advantage over second-placed club Doncaster Rovers Belles. The youngster has regularly impressed for Everton since the club were granted a top flight licence.
The keeper is Everton’s third departure of the summer so far after midfielder Inessa Kaagman an striker Hannah Cain announced their respective exits from the Merseyside club.
