Vyan Sampson, Charlotte Gurr and Vanessa Susanna have left FA Women’s Championship club London City Lionesses according to reports on the club’s official website.
The trio have made 22 appearances for The Pride between them in the FA Women’s Championship this season.
Defender Sampson was on loan at Princes Park from West Ham United and the player has now returned to Rush Green following the end of her temporary spell in Dartford. The Londoner made 10 appearances for The Pride in the FA Women’s Championship in which she netted one goal.
Midfielder Gurr joined London City Lionesses following a spell with local rivals Charlton Athletic. The player made just one league appearance for her latest club as a result of a long-term Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury in what has been a frustrating spell at Princes Park .
Dutch forward Susanna arrived at London City Lionesses with an impressive CV which listed European giants PSV and RSC Anderlecht as her former clubs. Only Liz Ejupi netted more FA Women’s Championship goals for The Pride than Susanna this season.
London City Lionesses finished in fourth position in their first campaign in the FA Women’s Championship. Lisa Fallon’s side will be hoping to kick-on in 2020/2021 as they look to take another step towards their Barclays FA Women’s Super League dream.
