Coventry United have completed the signing of Welsh Under-19 international goalkeeper Olivia Clark while defender Jenna Roberts has opted to extend her contract with the Warwickshire club.
Youngster Clark joins Jay Bradford’s side from FA Women’s National League Northern Premier Division outfit Huddersfield Town. The player helped her former side to the fourth round of last season’s Women’s FA Cup before The Terriers were beaten by Ipswich Town at The John Smith’s Stadium.
Coventry United announced the goalkeeper’s arrival on their official Twitter account this afternoon. The player will compete with Sue Wood for the number one jersey.

In other news, Coventry United have also announced that defender Roberts has opted to sign on again at the Butts Park Arena for the new season. The player missed most of the 2019/2020 FA Women’s Championship season with a back problem but she is now fighting fit and is ready to finally make her mark on the second tier.
Coventry United signed Roberts from neighbours Aston Villa in summer 2018 and the defender helped The Red and Greens to promotion from the FA Women’s National League Southern Premier Division at the end of her first season at the club.
Out for much of last season through a nasty back injury, Coventry United are delighted to announce the return of a fully fit, Jenna Roberts, to the United squad this season! ๐
