Lewes midfielder Ellie Noble has signed a new contract with the club for the coming season.
The 20-year-old has been with The Rookettes for one season and will now spend the 2020/2021 campaign with Simon Parker’s side.
With several members of last season’s squad having already signed on with Lewes again for the new campaign, it has today been revealed that Noble has added her name to the retained list by extending her deal at The Dripping Pan. The news was broadcast on Lewes’ official Twitter account early this afternoon.

Noble joined Lewes from third tier club Oxford United last summer, a club who she also represented during their time in the second tier. The youngster appeared in all 12 of Lewes’ FA Women’s Championship fixtures last season, netting a double on her debut in The Rookettes’ 5-1 victory over newly-promoted Blackburn Rovers at The Dripping Pan.
The Lewes midfield should have a very familiar look to it next season. Manager Parker has re-signed seven players who primarily play their football in midfield positions. Lewes have now retained 11 members of last season’s squad in total with the club’s recruitment drive having really picked up pace in recent weeks.
