Manchester United released their 2020/2021 home shirt earlier today and it has received a mixed response from fans.
The jersey, which is manufactured by adidas, aims to capture elements of the club’s DNA by using the threads of the club crest itself to produce a subtly patterned base fabric as explained on Manchester United’s official website. The result is a traditional red United shirt with a striking black and yellow yarn-stitched design.
United gave fans the first sight of their new home shirt via a promotional video posted on their official club Twitter account this morning.
Proud to be Red 👊

We issued an exclusive Twitter fan poll to gather their thoughts and the opinions were quite mixed. A total of 28.6% of those who voted really like the design while 34.3% are not all that impressed. In reality, the majority of fans think that United have had better home shirts, but have also had worse with 37.1% voting that the 2020/2021 design is simply ok.
