Former Birmingham City full-back Adrienne Jordan has signed for FLYERALARM Frauen-Bundesliga club SC Sand.
The 26-year-old former United States Under-23 international has been a free agent since leaving Spanish top flight club Unión Deportiva Granadilla Tenerife before Christmas. Jordan made eight appearances for the Spanish outfit before her short stay at the Estadio Francisco Suárez came to an end.
The player has today confirmed via a post on her personal Twitter account that she has joined German club SC Sand.

Jordan will look to play her part in helping SC Sand to put an end to their six-match losing streak in the FLYERALARM Frauen-Bundesliga. The club were defeated 8-0 in their last fixture at home to Bayern Munich prior to the Christmas break. SC Sand find themselves in 11th position in the league table, just three points clear of bottom club MSV Duisburg.
Jordan previously spent the 2019/2020 campaign playing in England with Birmingham City. The defender played every minute of the Blues’ 13 Barclays FA Women’s Super League matches prior to the season’s early curtailment due to COVID-19. She briefly joined National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) club OL Reign after leaving the SportNation.bet Stadium before moving to UDG Tenerife last summer.
The player could feature for new club SC Sand in their mid-season friendly fixture against Swiss club Basel on Saturday.
