Teenage defender Mollie Dench has joined London & South East Regional Women’s Football League club Queens Park Rangers on a free transfer from London Bees.
The 19-year-old has found first team playing opportunities hard to come by during what has been a near-three-season stay at The Hive and she will now be hoping to really launch her senior playing career with West London club QPR.
The R’s announced the capture of the young defender via a report on their official club website earlier today. Dench joins a club which she has already represented on two previous occasions with the youngster having enjoyed two loans spells with The Hoops.
QPR had won three of their five fixtures in the London & South East Regional Women’s Football League this season prior to the early curtailment of the competition due to COVID-19. The club will be keen to kick on in 2021/2022 after two disrupted campaigns.
During her time at London Bees, Dench made one start for the club in the FA Women’s Championship while she was handed 10 further appearances from the bench. The player’s last outing in orange and black came as a substitute in The Bees’ 3-0 defeat against promotion-chasing Leicester City at Farley Way in December.
