Attacker Jade Pennock is to leave Sheffield United after spending the last three years with the South Yorkshire club.
The 28-year-old, who can operate in various attacking roles, has been a member of the Sheffield United team since their maiden campaign in the FA Women’s Championship in 2018/2019.
Pennock has netted an impressive 23 goals in just 50 FA Women’s Championship appearances for The Blades. She has been a standout performer for the side despite regularly playing alongside equally as clinical goalscorers.
With the 2020/2021 campaign having now come to an end, Pennock has today announced that she will be moving on this summer. The player broke the news via a post on her personal Twitter account.

Having been born in Pontefract, Pennock has spent her entire senior career playing in Yorkshire other than a spell combining football with her studies in the United States. The attacker started out with Leeds before enjoying her four-year stay in America. Upon her return to England, Pennock had a brief spell with Harrogate Town before joining Doncaster Rovers Belles where she won the old FA Women’s Super League 2 title. The player moved to Sheffield United in summer 2018 and she has impressed throughout her time with The Blades.
Pennock joins Leandra Little and Keri Matthews in leaving Sheffield United during the close season.
