Simic has enjoyed a 16-year playing career in which she has won a number of major trophies. She was a Frauen-Bundesliga winner with VfL Wolfsburg while she also lifted the DFB-Pokal Frauen on four occasions with the She-Wolves and with her first club FC Bayern Munich.
In 2018, Simic moved to England where she spent two years with West Ham United. The midfielder helped The Hammers to the Women’s FA Cup final in her first season with the club before being troubled by a persistent knee injury. Simic made 16 Barclays FA Women’s Super League appearances for West Ham United in total while she netted two goals which both came in her first season in East London.
The player has not revealed her future plans, however, she is expected to continue to push on with her coaching commitments.
