Coventry United forward Ashlee Brown has confirmed that she will be leaving the club this summer after spending one season at the Butts Park Arena.
The 24-year-old attacker joined The Red and Greens last August following spells with their Midlands rivals Birmingham City and Aston Villa.
During her time with Coventry United, Brown made 10 appearances in the FA Women’s Championship with eight of those outings coming as starts. The player overcome an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury to go on to feature for Jay Bradford’s side.
With Brown not wishing to go full-time, she has today announced her departure from Coventry United. The player took to her personal Twitter account to confirm her decision to leave the club.

Brown started her senior career in the top flight with Birmingham City before swapping the blue side of the city for the claret and blue of Aston Villa. The player is a former England youth international with Brown having represented The Young Lionesses at various levels.
The forward becomes the sixth player to leave Coventry United during the close season. Goalkeeper Sue Wood has retired while Helen Dermody, Maz Gauntlett, Amber Hughes and Nikki Miles are all moving on in what is becoming a summer of real change at the Warwickshire club.
