Coventry United midfielder Anna Wilcox has signed a new contract with the club.
The player signed her first professional terms at the Butts Park Arena back in January and she has now put pen to paper on a new deal.
Wilcox has been a key member of the Coventry United side since returning to the club following a spell with FA Women’s National League North club West Bromwich Albion. The player started 18 FA Women’s Championship games for The Red and Greens this season, scoring in their 1-1 draw at London Bees in December.
Coventry United announced the news of Wilcox’s new deal via a post on their official club Twitter account earlier today.

Wilcox’s contract extension comes on the same day that forward Ashlee Brown announced her departure from the club. The former Aston Villa attacker is opting to move on rather than go into full-time football. Wilcox is the first Coventry United player to sign on again for next season during the close season.
The midfielder is expected to be joined by a number of new teammates at the Butts Park Arena next season with no less than six players having left the club so far this summer.
