Coventry United’s recruitment mission for the new season has continued with midfielder Katy Morris having today agreed a new deal with the club.
The former Bolton Wanderers and Chorley player joins fellow midfielder Anna Wilcox in signing on again at the Butts Park Arena this week.
Morris was a member of the first Coventry United side to play in the FA Women’s Championship in 2019/2020. She will begin her third season with the club next term.
Coventry United announced news of Morris’ new contract in a post on their official club Twitter account this evening.

In her two seasons with The Red and Greens, Morris has made 25 appearances for the club in the FA Women’s Championship. The midfielder has netted two goals which both came in Coventry United’s 5-2 victory over Crystal Palace at the Butts Park Arena in April.
It has been a big week in the history of Coventry United. Not only have two important players in Morris and Wilcox signed fresh terms for the new season, the club have also announced the marquee signing of former Sheffield United forward Katie Wilkinson, a player who has been the FA Women’s Championship’s top scorer in the last two seasons.
