Colville proved to be a useful squad player for Coventry United manager Jay Bradford last season and she was always available when called upon. The player featured in just five of the club’s 20 fixtures in the FA Women’s Championship but she was always a reliable option and manager Bradford clearly thinks that the midfielder has much more to contribute to the team.
In total, 18 players have either signed new deals with Coventry United ahead of the new campaign or have opted to join the club this summer. Manager Bradford’s squad looks to be not all that far away from now being complete, although you wouldn’t rule out a couple of last minute additions.
Defensive reinforcements may still be something which Bradford may want to consider while another major attacking option would help challenge Katie Wilkinson and Rio Hardy for their places.
This has been a strong transfer window for The Red and Greens and the club will only be looking up this year.
