Leeds United teenager Enderby joins Sheffield United

Sheffield United have completed the signing of teenage forward Mia Enderby from Yorkshire rivals Leeds United.

The 16-year-old attacker is a product of The Whites’ Regional Talent Centre (RTC) and she will now be hoping to follow in the footsteps of a number of young players in being given first team minutes at FA Women’s Championship club Sheffield United.

On the international stage, Enderby has represented England at various youth levels up to and including Under-17 level and she is regarded as one of the most highly-rated young homegrown talents in the game.

Sheffield United announced the signing of the player via an official club press release earlier today. After completing her move to The Technique Stadium, Enderby said “I’m really excited and I’m really honoured to be representing such a big club in the Championship. I’m so young so it’s a massive change for me but all the players and all the coaches have been so
welcoming, my transition has been really good.”

Enderby will offer Sheffield United head coach Neil Redfearn plenty of versatility with the player able to operate in various attacking roles. The youngster was offered a contract with the club after impressing in training sessions and in The Blades’ pre-season fixtures.

The forward becomes Sheffield United’s fifth signing of the summer transfer window.
