Durham agree sponsorship of RTC with Kepier School

FA Women’s Championship club Durham have announced that Kepier School have become the sponsors of their Regional Talent Club (RTC).

Durham’s Regional Talent Club (RTC) offers talented youngsters in the North East a direct pathway towards the elite game. Younger teams in the RTC play against teams across the North East, while the older age groups travel further afield to play some of the best teams in the country.

As a result of today’s announcement by The Wildcats, all of Durham’s RTC teams will have the Kepier School logo on their shirts. The move is the latest incentive to come from the partnership between the Houghton-le-Spring-based school and the FA Women’s Championship club which started with a Youth Development Programme launch earlier this year.

Speaking following today’s announcement, Durham Women Pathway and Development Manager Maddy Wood said “We’re delighted to have Kepier sponsoring our RTC kits for the season.

“Their support is really important as we look to continue offering a first-class experience to young players in the region and look to develop the next generation of female talent.

“It’s great to see the school showing such strong support to female football in the region and we look forward to working with Kepier on more projects to engage young players moving forward.”

Kepier School’s Youth Development Programme offers specialised coaching to students alongside a structured timetable of lessons. The main aim is for some students to become a part of Durham’s dual-career pathway in the future.
