The Lionesses’ new home and away kits for the upcoming UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 have been unveiled this morning.
Fans have been waiting for weeks to learn of the kits that England will be wearing at this summer’s home EUROs and today they finally got a first glimpse of the outfits with pre-orders now being taken.
The kits have again being manufactured by American multinational corporation Nike and both kits have incorporated the traditional England colours, white for the home strip and red for the away kit.
The home kit is pretty much all white with what can be described as an ocean blue outline on the England badge and the same colour for the Nike logo. The shorts and socks follow the same theme. The away kit is red, with a black trim, the England badge and Nike logo also being black. The shade of red is not really one that you would usually associate with England kits, it is more of a lighter shade that you would associate with the shirts of the South Korean national team. Again, the design of the shorts and socks mirror the shirt.
Whilst the designs will be a hit with fans, the price of the kits won’t be. The cost of a replica ‘stadium’ adults jersey is a whopping £74.95 while fans can buy the actual player ‘vapor’ shirts for £114.95. Despite the high prices, there is no doubting the fact that fans will wear their new England shirts with pride at the UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 this summer.
