Former Crystal Palace forward Farrow joins London City Lionesses

Former Crystal Palace forward Millie Farrow has joined London City Lionesses according to reports on The Pride’s official club website.

The 26-year-old attacker joins London City Lionesses on a free transfer after leaving former club Crystal Palace at the end of last season.

Farrow has a good recent record playing in the Barclays Women’s Championship. She helped Leicester City win the title and promotion to the Barclays Women’s Super League in 2020/2021 while Farrow was a member of a Crystal Palace side which recorded their highest-ever finish in the division last season. In her one season with Crystal Palace, the forward made 19 Barclays Women’s Championship appearances while she netted five goals including one in a 5-1 defeat to new club London City Lionesses back in February.

After turning out for Chelsea, Bristol City and Reading in the early days of her career, Farrow will be keen to find her way back to the top flight and she could get that opportunity with London City Lionesses in the coming years.

After sealing her move to Princes Park, Farrow said “I’m really happy to be here.

“The first initial meeting I had when I came down to the club I had a great feeling. I started to have conversations with Mel (Phillips) and the rest of the staff and I was immediately drawn to the values at London City.

“I’m really looking forward to getting stuck into things and hopefully, there’s a title waiting at the end of the season!”

Farrow is London City Lionesses’ second signing of the summer transfer window.
