Former Lewes midfielder Logan joins Charlton Athletic

Charlton Athletic have completed the signing of former Lewes midfielder Heidi Logan on a two-year contract.

The Addicks announced the news this afternoon via a post on their official club website.

Logan came through the youth ranks at Birmingham City before breaking into the first team. The midfielder saw her game time limited at St Andrew’s and she joined Lewes last summer. Logan made 19 appearances for The Rookettes in the Barclays Women’s Championship last season as Lewes enjoyed another solid campaign in the second tier. Logan will now be hoping to kick on further in the second tier with new club Charlton Athletic.

After completing her move to The Oakwood, Logan said “I am delighted to be here. It is a really professional club and it is the right step in my career. I really like the way Karen (Hills) plays and that is one of the main things that attracted me here.

“I am energetic, I like to get around the pitch and I like to help the team as much as I can, but also I am direct and I love a ball over the top to run onto.”

Logan becomes Charlton Athletic head coach Karen Hills’ sixth summer signing.
