Tottenham Hotspur have completed the signing of Polish international forward Nikola Karczewska on a two-year deal with the option of a further year.
Spurs announced the news this morning via a post on their official club website. The player joins the North Londoners after most recently turning out for French club FC Fleury 91.
Karczewska started her senior footballing career back in her homeland with UKS SMS Łódź before spending time with Górnik Łęczna. The striker made the decision to move across Europe to further her career last summer and she joined FC Fleury 91. Karczewska netted 10 goals in 21 league outings for the club in the French Arkema D1 Feminine last season. She is now taking a further step forward in her career by joining Spurs.
After completing the signing of Karczewska, Spurs head coach Rehanne Skinner said “Niki is an exciting addition who will strengthen our forward line. Her performances in France and Poland over the last two years show how capable she is in front of goal, and we are looking forward to helping her push on in the WSL. She’s very determined with a great attitude.”
The striker becomes Spurs boss Skinner’s fourth signing of the summer transfer window.
