Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City will be aiming to add more points to their respective tallies when they contest their latest Barclays Women’s Super League fixture at The Breyer Group Stadium in Leyton on Saturday.
Spurs have won two of their first three league fixtures while Manchester City collected their first points of the new season last weekend when they defeated struggling Leicester City 4-0 at The Academy Stadium.
Tottenham Hotspur head coach Rehanne Skinner confirmed in the pre-match press conference that some of her players are carrying minor injuries therefore The Lilywhites could be working with reduced numbers again this weekend. Long term absentees Kit Graham, Ria Percival and Kyah Simon remain sidelined while Rosella Ayane and Ramona Petzelberger are also expected to be out. Forward Chioma Ubogagu is available after serving a nine-month suspension while defender Kerys Harrop is nearing fitness.
Manchester City head coach Gareth Taylor has no new injury concerns ahead of his side’s latest match. Defenders Ruby Mace and Alanna Kennedy remain sidelined with their respective injuries.
