Former Birmingham City forward Eleanor Ryan-Doyle has joined Durham on a free transfer.
FAWSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Wildcats this afternoon.
Ryan-Doyle has spent the last two seasons with Birmingham City. The player netted two goals for the Blues, both of which came in the 2021/2022 FA Women’s Continental Tyres League Cup.
The 25-year-old struggled for game time with Birmingham City and she spent the second half of last season on loan at Coventry United. Ryan-Doyle scored two goals in four outings for The Red and Greens in the Barclays Women’s Championship.
Ryan-Doyle has plenty of potential and she will be hoping to reach her top performance levels with new club Durham.
After joining The Wildcats, Ryan-Doyle said “I’m really excited to be here.
“It’s a really exciting season for me and I’m ready to get started now with Durham.
“I’m a forward and I like to score goals. I work hard and will always do whatever I can for the team.
“I also know the fanbase here are great – they get big numbers home and away – so I’m excited to see that too.”
Ryan-Doyle becomes Durham’s first signing of the summer transfer window.
