Arsenal’s teenage trio Michelle Agyemang, Katie Reid and Laila Harbert have all joined Barclays Women’s Championship club Watford on dual-registration deals.
The Golden Girls announced their treble-signing via a post on their official club website just a short time ago.
Forward Agyemang is a real coup for Watford. The player broke into the Arsenal senior squad last season while she was the joint-second highest goalscorer at the UEFA Women’s Under-17 Championship earlier this summer with four goals.
Like Agyemang, defender Reid is also an England Under-17 international who featured at the UEFA Women’s Under-17 Championship. At club level, she is yet to play for Arsenal but she has made the bench on several occasions.
Midfielder Harbert also played for England at the UEFA Women’s Under-17 Championship this summer. She is yet to force her way into the senior squad at Arsenal.
The trio have all been regulars for Arsenal at development squad level and they will be eligible to represent their parent club when required this season in addition to their involvement with Watford.
Watford head coach Damon Lathrope has now added six players to his squad this summer. The Golden Girls have also signed Harley Bennett, Coral-Jade Haines and Olivia Clark.
